PSCU Data Connector

The PSCU Data Connector allows your organization to integrate and leverage credit card servicing and behavioral data from both the Fiserv (FirstData) platform as well as PSCU’s Member Insight offering. Credit unions are able to customize Key Performance indicators that are critical, managing and growing a vibrant credit card program for consumers. The PSCU Data Connector also streamlines reporting and compliance procedures, allowing the card services group to spend time using the data to improve adoption in your credit card offering to members.

  • Deployment and customiztion to of executive level KPI’s critical to running and growing an effective credit card portfolio.
  • Automation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, metrics and dashboards for compliance and performance.
  • Profiling of credit card spend to improve marketing and adoption of credit card usage as well as other products.

Common Questions

Yes and No. Yes, in that if you wish to integrate transactions, member loyalty, card details and custom attributes tracked at PSCU, it may be required to license additional extracts not currently licensed by the credit union from PSCU. CFS can guide your credit union through the process of what is available vs. what your credit union wished to integrate. No, in that often times there are files from PSCU that the credit union is already receiving as part of its relationship with PSCU. The only thing required is to send a copy of those files to a location where they can be processed into the data warehouse by CFS’s PSCU Data Connector.

No.  For any files that have already been mappied, the support and integration of those data sources is included in the cost of the data connector.

Yes, CFS provides example dashbaords via Power BI and TIBCO Spotfire?

No problem. The data is written to a well documented data mart / database upon which any business itelligence software can consume.

Technical Details

The notable implementation details include the following:

  • Product runs on the SQL Server 2012 or higher platform.
  • Data can be sourced from direct EBCDIC extracts from the Fiserv/FirstData main frame system and/or the PSCU MemberInsight offering. Native integration to both platforms is supported.
  • Extracts which come different frequencies (i.e. monthly vs. daily) are harmonized into the load process providing consitent view of the data every day.
  • Intelligence on file availablity from the FirstData / Member Insight platforms is built into the integration so that when to expect extracts vs. when not to expect extracts is pre-built into the product.
